They are valued partners of Marin Builders Association and are dedicated to helping our members learn how to incorporate home hardening and fire protection into their business models.\n\n\n\nThis presentation will cover Fire Behavior Science 101 how wildfires spread and the key factors that increase risk followed by an overview of fire prevention efforts in Marin County\, including the role of MWPA\, Measure C\, and local fire agencies. Attendees will learn about essential steps homeowners can take to reduce risk through home hardening and defensible space\, as well as how to access valuable resources such as home wildfire assessments\, Firewise USA support\, professional trainings\, and Fire Safe Marin's extensive library of educational videos and tools. She will also be welcoming a special guest and co-presenter\, Kazoo Shearman with Shearman Builders\, who specializes in home hardening and is an integral partner of Fire Safe Marin.\n\n\n\nThe mission of this group is to help build our networks\, address issues in our industry from the female perspective and ultimately build our strength as a community of women within construction in the North Bay. \n\n\n\nEach meeting features a member presentation\, three mini-member marketing presentations\, or a topic discussion as set by the group.
