In 2024\, new employment laws have already gone into effect and there will be more coming in July. All of these changes will impact the way you conduct your business. This workshop will cover the recent changes\, what it means for your business and help you determine how to update your handbooks.\n\n\n\nHere are a few of the many changes we will review:\n\n	New employee leave rights\n	Paid sick leave\n	Minimum wage requirements\n	Updating handbook policies and procedures\n\nWorkshop is from 12:00-1:00pm with additional Q+A until 1:15pm\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nInstructor Ginny Kuhel\, the owner of Kuhelbreez HR Consulting\, has over 25+ years of experience in human resources\, most of which was in corporations as a Human Resources Director. Her private practice is dedicated to assisting small businesses\, usually one to 40 employees in a variety of industries. She assists her clients in staying compliant and avoiding costly labor lawsuits while also making HR fun and easy.\n\n\n\nAs part of the Northern California Small Business Development Center (SBDC) program\, Marin SBDC focuses on advising small business clients located in the Marin SBDC network coverage area. Funded in part through a grant with the Governor's Office of Business and Economic Development. Funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.
