DESCRIPTION:University of Oregon researchers need your help! The Insurance Institute for Business and Home Safety (IBHS)  has established Wildfire Prepared Homes and  Wildfire Prepared Homes Plus designations in California that are designed to help mitigate fire risk while also providing benefits\, such as insurance premium reductions.\n\n\n\nWe are hosting a focus group session in San Rafael to gather feedback from fire professionals\, master gardeners\, insurance companies\, and builders within Marin County about their experiences with mitigating wildfire risk and what they think about the IBHS programs. We will start with an information session about the IBHS programs and have an open discussion about what you think of the programs and how they can be tailored to better fit your needs. Focus groups typically take 90-120 minutes.
