The California Contractors State License Board is becoming more aggressive about levying fines against remodeling contractors who use contracts that fail to comply with the California Home Improvement Act.  Smith Currie has seen fines of $3,500 and $5000 for technical violations against contractors.  Don’t you be one of them.  Start 2020 right by getting a compliant contract and spending 3 hours learning about it from Dan McLennon, a 30+ year construction lawyer with Smith, Currie & Hancock LLP.
 

Participants will receive a solid form Home Improvement Contract that complies with California law, plus 3 hours of instruction with a 30-year construction lawyer discussing your new contract's important terms.
