Going Solar Basics for Homeowners - City of Sausalito

Join us on Saturday, November 10 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sausalito City Council Chambers (420 Litho Street, Sausalito, CA 94965 for a free class provided by the City of Sausalito, the Marin County Sustainability Team, and the Pacific Gas & Electric Company's Pacific Energy Center.

This short class is for homeowners that are considering installing solar photovoltaic systems on their homes. Attendees will learn:

  • Basics of energy efficiency measures for your home
  • Basics of solar technology, cost, paybacks, and utility rates
  • What to do before contacting a solar contractor
  • What financing options are available

Pete Shoemaker is the Renewable Program Coordinator at the PG&E Pacific Center Center in San Francisco.
