Selling to the Government: Sources Sought Opportunities

Selling to the Government: Sources Sought Opportunities

Expand Your Business with Government Contracting

Knowing how to answer a government’s “Sources Sought” or Request for Information (RFI) is the perfect opportunity to market your business capabilities and distinguish yourself in a positive way from your competitors in the government marketplace. Sources Sought and RFIs are the federal government’s way to conduct market research and identify capable small business sources for a small business set-aside or other type of set-aside contracts. Answering the call for Sources Sought increases the availability of these special contracts and puts your business a few steps closer to winning these government bids.

Join Norcal PTAC' Sources Sought Opportunities workshop (Free) on November 6, 10am-12pm to learn about the purpose of Sources Sought/RFI,  how to conduct appropriate market research before responding, determine if you are a “capable source,” develop a Capability Statement and market your business in your response. Presented by Norcal PTAC Procurement Specialist Nanci Pigeon, this workshop is co-hosted by San Francisco Small Business Development Center and will be held at the City of SF Office of Economic & Workforce Development, 1 South Van Ness Ave. San Francisco, CA 94103.
