State of Deconstruction Workshop featuring Marin Builders Members GreenLynx and The Away Station

This Deconstruction Workshop will cover the ground-breaking success of the Portland’s Mandatory Deconstruction ordinance and the State of Deconstruction nationally and in the Bay Area. 

We are excited to have Shawn Wood, Construction Waste Specialist at the City of Portland Bureau of Planning and Sustainability, joining us in person! He will be presenting the details of their process of creating the ordinance and managing it.

Brandon Bugge, Vice Chair of the Building Materials Reuse Association (BMRA), will provide a welcome and updates from the national organization. Nicole Tai, Board Member with The Reuse Alliance and CEO of GreenLynx, will discuss the current state of deconstruction and the reuse markets locally and nationally. Carrie Bachelder, Founder of The Away Station, will provide a non-profit perspective of the industry.
