This position will teach an Intro to Building and Construction Trades (BCT) class at Novato High. The class is expected to be offered for four (4) hours, one day per week, in the afternoons/evenings. Classes will begin in August 2026 and follow the school calendar (estimated 32 class weeks from August - May).
Minimum qualifications:
- High school diploma
- At least three (3) years or 3,000 hours of experience working in the construction trades
- Selected candidates will need to obtain a CTE credential, which will be supported by Marin ROP
Desired qualifications:
- Experience working with youth as a teacher, coach, trainer, mentor, counselor, or facilitator
- Bilingual English/Spanish
Annual pay range for instruction and prep: $15,440 - $22,349 (placement on Marin County Office of Education teacher salary schedule based on experience and college credits)
