The Bauman Story

Bauman Landscape & Construction, Inc. was founded in 1977 by Mike and Ellie Bauman. It started as a two-person residential landscape company with a wheel barrel, a shovel, and a pick-up truck. Michael Bauman saw a niche in the Bay Area and the opportunity for concrete supply to be done in a more environmentally and sustainable way. Using the latest technology with our volumetric mixers, we can supply the exact quantities you need without any waste. Bauman Redi-Mix, which started as just one volumetric mixer, has now increased to nineteen mixers and counting, but despite the growth, we still use the same philosophy that we did when we started: family values and high integrity. Volumetric mixers allow us to provide mobile mixing for job sites, both large and small, and the ability to change mix designs on the fly.

Depending on the project, we also offer boom pump and line pump rentals that give us the ability to place concrete in hard-to-access places.
