NOTICE INVITING PROPOSALS
CITY OF BELVEDERE, CALIFORNIA
VEGETATION MAINTENANCE SERVICES
 

PROPOSALS will be accepted by the City of Belvedere for Vegetation Maintenance Services until 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 17, 2026. Proposals may be submitted by email to jfogarty@cityofbelvedere.gov or delivered to the address listed below.

BRIEF PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
  • Vegetation maintenance in public rights-of-way, roadways, lanes, and open spaces
  • Weed whacking, mowing, brush removal, vegetation trimming, and invasive vegetation removal
  • Clearing vegetation from sidewalks, guardrails, signs, and drainage facilities, including green-waste disposal
  • Fire fuel reduction, including removal of combustible vegetation and reduction of fuel loads in designated areas
  • Public and worker safety measures, including traffic control, temporary signage, and pedestrian protection

Important requirement: All work shall be performed without the use of pesticides, herbicides, or other toxic chemicals, as prohibited by the Belvedere Municipal Code.

Estimated project budget and timeline: $67,400.00. The initial contract term is January 1, 2027 through December 31, 2029, with potential extensions at the City's discretion as described in the RFP.

Interested firms should refer to the Request for Proposals for complete scope, qualification, insurance, submission, and evaluation requirements. Questions concerning the RFP must be submitted by email to Jules Fogarty at jfogarty@cityofbelvedere.gov by November 3, 2026. Responses to questions are scheduled to be provided by November 10, 2026.
